Visiting the Schools and Galleries
Today we visited a private/public school for ages 15-22. We walked along a Blvd with several large sculptures - black bat babies. The final sculpture was a baby was riding a dinosaur. The baby represented the future and the dinosaur the past - the future rides on the past. I also got a chance to tour galleries, there are several small galleries all around our hotel. They were very curteous and helpful.

Rotary International Hospitalty
If course the Rotary clubs having been great. Each day we have lunch with a Rotary Club, and in the Evening we have dinner with a Rotary Club. Each meal is just what you'd expect from French cuisine and the wine and beer are unique to

WW I in Belgium
We visited a trench area from WWI on May 11. This area of Belgium, outside of Ypres, was COMPLETELY destroyed. It was amazing to look around and all of the buildings
were GONE. The farmhouse that we are staying in was rebuilt after the way. The guide called everything "brand new".

We also visited the trench that Hilter served in during WWI. It's hard to imagine that he would want to go through war again after experiencing such destruction.
After 2.5 years of tunneling the UK detonated a bomb one hundred feet under the German command area. This was one of the largest explosion of the war and the landscape was forever changed.
